Noiseless and versatile, octaver+ pedal. Makes great and musical 'crazy' sounds that might inspire you to do something new on your instrument.

First off I think Matheius must of got a faulty pedal. I use a few Hotone pedals in my various lines of work and have never had a problem with any of themI am a semi ex pro guitar player who how now speads his time as a sound engineer / guitar luither / guitar teacher and occassional gigs, So over the last 35 years I heard and played some of the best pedals out there. I would rank this in with the best of them, especially when you consider the price. As a guitar teacher I give presents to my students for special occasionals, This was the reason this purchase. I decided to get one of my students this pedal so he could play the harmonized parts he'd been practicing lately (using a EHX Pitch Fork that he'd borrowed from me)At about 72mm top to bottom and 45mm wide so it's pretty easy to find space on your pedal board for it. It's very well made, the case is a sturdy aluminium with a strong protective metal rail above the activation switch so you don't accidentally stomp the knobs off of the thing. The knobs themselves are basic but move smoothly with a slight amount of resistance to prevent your settings from being inadvertently changed through foot operation. The inputs/outputs and power input are as solid and stable as you would find on any pedal. The knob on the front lights up so you can see it on a dark stage or moody teenage bedroom. There is no battery compartment because the entire pedal isn't much larger than a 9v battery so it must be powered by a standard 9v supply which is, of course, not included with the pedal. It's super easy to use - in fact easier to understand than the pitchfork and the sound variables are amazing from Chorus to Organ to 2 Octaves up and 2 downand 12 string simulation - the only downside is no ability to go octave up and down at the same time - giving a 18 string simulation. The way the pedal is laid out is perfect for anyone wanting try this type of pedal as you don't really have to know any music terminology other than a semitone = 1 fret. To me as a teacher this is perfect for people who don't know music theory i.e. A perfect 4th, Major 3rd, Perfect 5thBeing able to mix the dry and wet signals fully adds to the sound sculpting capability. It also works well and compliments other effects such as distortion phaser and Wah with no latentcy what so ever. The sound quality is certainly on on par with the EXH Pitch Fork and the Digitech Drop.I have just ordered another couple of these fantastic units and will be using these from now on.3 = the price of the pitch fork so a no brianer really.
