Purchased this as a replacement for a worn out unit on a 7 year old robot. Works like new again

had just ordered new filters for the Tigershark and was eager to get it running again. I installed them and then put it in the water and it was not moving. As I pulled the unit up, I could hear a horrible noise so I shut it down and went to You Tube and found a site that provided a good breakdown of assembling and disassembling the unit. I went to Amazon and ordered this along with wheel tube bearings that the belt roll around. I took the unit apart in the day it took before the parts came and actually found some of the ball bearings (like bb's), rolling around in the unit. The parts fit perfectly and the unit is aggressively climbing the walls of the pool again. I figured I would wait to be sure this went ok before ordering new belts and new scrubbers. It's really not a tough job. You will need "star shaped" screwdrivers - better yet a small ratchet wrench with an extension that will accept the same shaped heads because the toughest part of the job is getting the screws out on the inside of the unit to take the side off. I have small hands and even for me it was really tough to reach them. Other than that this is the way to go. All in all may 30-45 minutes to disassemble (if you're like me and methodical - replacing the screws in the holes so I'll remember where they go when you re-assemble. I was careful to use baggies to save the tiny screws that are used to tighten the screws down on each end of the roller tubes ... you don't want to lose them. All of the materials used to build these devices are stainless steel and resist any sign of rust after mnay years. I would not trust the big box stores for the exact size or quality required to replace the hardware.
