This really is a quality item the grip feels nice in the hand, I also feel it adds strength to the bottom plate.Update bought another as I have two OM-5s, please note these are better than the picture as they have the side bracket as well.

Impugnatura veramente fatta bene e si adatta perfettamente alla fotocamera OM-SYSTEM OM-5, rendendo la presa molto più solida, soprattutto utile se si usano obbiettivi un po' pesanti.

Absolut fantastisch. Sehr guter Halt, deutlich bequemer und sicherer in der Bedienung. War auch wirklich überrascht von der Verarbeitung, fast alles ist aus Metall und fühlt sich stabil an. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Leder nicht ganz so aussieht wie das Leder an der OM-5, aber es fällt nur bei genaueren hinschauen auf.

This camera bracket holder arrived in a cardboard box together with a hex key, and a cleaning cloth. The bracket is made from black aluminium metal which is very strong and sturdy. There is a rubber non-slip textured grip at the bottom for the camera to rest on, with a wide screw to securely fix onto the camera using the supplied hex key. There is a hand grip at the front right which has a microfiber leather textured grip to ensure it won’t slip when holding the bracket. The hand grip can be removed if required using the hex key. There is also a side plate at the left which can be removed if required depending on the design of your camera. The underneath of the bracket has a gap where you can open the door to the camera and access the battery and memory card.This bracket holder definitely helps when using a camera, as it gives more grip for your hand. It means you can hold your camera more securely and it is lightweight so does not add much weight to your camera. Using the hex key means you can quickly and easily remove the bracket from your camera if needed. The bracket is made from strong metal meaning you can hold it tightly without fear of it breaking. This is definitely recommended if you need a good bracket with a better secure hand grip during photography.

I’ve been extremely pleased with this bracket.It’s made a vast difference to how I handle my camera and saves me attaching different accessories should I wish to use a tripod for example.The hold is far more comfortable and it’s a good fit for me, it feels grippy and much more secure in my hand.The build feels well made from a solidly constructed aluminium alloy which doesn’t add much weight.It allows me to easily change batteries and doesn’t block functionality. It has rubber pads which protect the camera from scratching.It's great for the price, offers good value for money and it’s nice and sturdy with convenient arca swiss mounts.I hope you find my review helpful.
