In maintenance there are 2 types of people. People who have some fixing band in their toolbox, and people who don't know what fixing band is. There is not much that can't be fixed/repaired/strengthened with this hugely versatile but stunningly simple invention.

Bought these to strap up 150mm round posts making planters for a customer. Worked perfect and customers are chuffed

Bought this as a gift for our plumber (don’t laugh) after he admired the smaller gauge version the electricians were using to secure cables during our re wiring. He used it to form a cradle for the soil pipe where it drops into the void between the ground and first floor. He also found it useful for where pipes needed securing but normal plastic clips were too rigid and snapped. No doubt you could use it for loads of other things. Making eye masks for mice for example.
