Have this unit in my bedroom since it's me, my 2 dogs that go in and out, 3 budgies, and a cockatiel (apartment life). I am counting the days until I have a setup where the pets can have more of their own space but for now, this is what it is. For my situation I have to replace the hepa every 2 months and the carbon once a month.I know they work because right at the 2 month mark every time is when I start sneezing but when I change it, back to normal.
