I have two pet rats, and while they like drinking out of a standard bottle with the ball drip, I prefer for them to always have a dish of water as well even if they use it more often to clean their face than to drink. I had a set with a bottle attached to a dish, but they would often make a mess of the water or knock it over quickly so it was hard to keep it full and clean. This bottle is nice in that it "auto" refills the bowl as they drink, which leaves the water cleaner overall (even if they wash in it) and it is heavier and bigger so they can't knock it over. It holds a lot so you won't be constantly refilling because it's empty, but instead I think I will need to clean it before I need to refill it (I have rats though and they also use a bottle, so your mileage may vary if you have a larger "small" pet).My qualm is that they screw part to affix it to the cage is far to large for a smaller animal cage. It doesn't list rats in the description, but hamsters are smaller than rats (and in the description) and hamster cages probably have similar bar distance to my rat cage (rats need smaller cage bar distance than you expect because they can squeeze very small, anywhere their head fits, their body can theoretically go-my boys are lazy and love the easy life so I don't think they'd actually even try...but theoretically the bars must be only 2-2.5cm apart) and this bottle cannot be affixed to my cage. I hope it is large and heavy enough that they won't knock it over, but it would be nicer if you could affix it. Even cooler would be if they could find a way to make the bottle part on the outside of the cage with the dish on the inside so it took up less space and it was easier to refill, though that would probably be a bit challenging.

Vom zweiten Eindruck her, bin ich sehr überrascht. War etwas skeptisch, da es nun nicht viel hergab.Der automatische Wasserspender ist praktisch und durchdacht.Mit einer Kapazität von 500ml ist dieser Wasserspender ideal für kleine Haustiere, wie bei uns; Kaninchen.Unsere Kaninchen haben einen abgetrennten Raum bekommen, der mit Gitter abgetrennt ist, ich hatte erst Sorge, dass man den Wasserspender nicht fixieren kann, da es keine gewöhnlichen Käfigmaße sind, aber es klappte (siehe Bild).Der automatische Mechanismus stellt sicher, dass die Kaninchen jederzeit Zugang zu frischem Wasser haben, ohne dass Wasserschalen verdreckt werden oder gar umgeschmissen werden.Der Wasserspender ist leicht auseinanderzunehmen und zu reinigen, was eine hygienische Wasserzufuhr gewährleistet.Ich bin gespannt, ob es nicht nach mehrfachen Befüllen eventuell mal doch ausläuft - wie bei einem anderen Modell leider der Fall -sollte dies passieren, aktualisiere ich meine BewertungZum Reinigen und nachfüllen, einfach den Trinkbehälter nach vorne heraus ziehen und vorher die Flasche anheben, schon kann man den Trinkbehälter reinigen und die Flasche nachfüllen. Nikel et super pratique juste de prendre la bouteille pour changer l'eau et très bonne fixation. Il faut juste penser a le laver quand même.

L’eau dans la petite rigole se salit vite et devient impure pour les cochons d’Inde.
