I read some reviews which seemed to criticise the packaging used to transport these two sockets which had resulted in bent pins. Maybe I was lucky as the packaging wasn't great but the contents were perfect. Although these are large sockets they will comfortably hold smaller 8 and 14 pin devices so are ideal for prototyping boards.

Die Qualität dieser Sockel ist genauso gut wie die der 28 poligen die ich vor ca. 2 Wochen erhalten habe.Wegen der simplen Verpackung (Tasche aus Bubble-Folie) sind allerdings immer einige Beinchen verbogen, was aber nicht so ins Gewicht fällt: beim Platzieren auf dem PCB muss man sowieso immer einige Kontakte 'überreden' durch die Kontaktlöcher zu gehen.Vorsicht bei Verwendern von KICAD. Die Kontaktstifte passen nicht in die Standard-KICAD Footprints, sie sind zu groß, ca. 0,83x0,eppes Millimeter.Deshalb: Nachmessen, dann Footprint modifizieren!Ich habe es nicht gemerkt und konnte mir nur dadurch helfen, dass ich die Kontaktstifte in Längsrichtung abgefeilt habe (mit Nagelfeile), bis sie schmal genug waren. Daslässt sich aber vermeiden!
