This device is great as it allows me to use dual monitor from one thunderbolt/type c port. The first thing you will need to do though is install a software. It is on their website and is pretty straight forward on how to do that. After you have it installed, it is pretty much just plug and play. The device comes with two different options for two screens. You can either plug it in via HDMI or display port. You only get 2 monitors even though there are four ports on the back. There are also two usb 3.0 ports on the front. They are okay if you want to connect a drive or accessories but I would rather utilize the thunderbolt if I am plugging in a hard drive. There is an adapter on the device as well that allow you to plug in via USB A. This will work for either mac or PC. There are installation drivers for both and you will need to install it. There is no additional power required for this device which may be a good and bad thing as the USB A may not be able to provide enough power to the USB ports and cause disconnection and such. The cord length is not bad and this device does not get hot or anything. The connection of the most part is stable. I had no issues with video disconnect when using the type c port (note that this is NOT thunderbolt). I did see some flicker here and there when using the USB A port though. I assume it is a power issue. This device is on the pricier end but it does do the job for what I need it do. I am able to finally plug in my mac book and output to two monitors rather than just one and only through ONE port. The down side is that the power on this device fluctuates as bit especially on USB A plug. It is not perfect but it is still good for me to use at the office.

I'm using it on a MacBook Air M2, which is known for not supporting two monitors! Eureka! Once you get everything installed, it works perfectly. The device does get a little warm, but not too bad. I can't believe they had to solve something that Apple didn't!

This docking station allows me to connect my laptop to two 4K displays at the same time. That means I can watch movies on one screen while working on my homework on the other. The picture quality is really sharp and clear which is great for watching videos. Setting it up was super easy. It worked right away when I plugged it in and I didn't have to install any extra software or drivers which is a big bonus for anyone who is not as tech savvy as some of us. The dock has a USB-C connection so it fits my MacBook perfectly. It also works with Windows laptops which means this is versatile and not stuck working on one or the other like some other products. Best feature is the extra USB ports. There are two USB A 2.0 ports which are perfect for connecting a mouse and keyboard. Sometimes I run out of ports on my laptop so having these extra ones is really helpful. There is also an Ethernet port that lets me connect to the internet with a wired connection which means faster speeds when I’m gaming or downloading things instead of slow laptop WiFi. The design of the dock is also nice. It’s sleek, doesn’t take up much space on my desk and can be stored in most laptop bag pockets so you can use while you travel. It looks good next to my laptop and I like that it keeps everything organized with room to expand if needed. Make sure you understand that some macbooks will only work single stream which means it's going to use one picture for the 2 monitors.

The Dual DisplayLink Docking Station has some great features, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. On the positive side, the dual 4K@60Hz display support is impressive, and it’s compatible with both MacBook (M1/M2/M3) and Windows laptops. The variety of ports, including DisplayPort, HDMI, USB A 2.0, and Ethernet, makes it versatile for a wide range of setups. The compact design is a bonus, and it works well as a universal docking station for basic tasks. However, I encountered a frustrating issue when gaming or using my laptop with multiple monitors connected to the dock. The monitors would occasionally blink on and off, disrupting the screen and breaking my concentration. This problem made it difficult to use the dock for activities that require a stable and uninterrupted display, such as gaming or video editing. For the price, I expected a more reliable performance. While the dock may work fine for lighter use, the blinking issue makes it hard to recommend for anyone needing a consistent and dependable connection for external monitors. It's okay for general use but falls short for demanding setups.

This is a USB hub for use with Mac OS, Android, and Windows systems. It has two USB A 2.0 ports, an RJ45 network port, two DV ports, and two HDMI ports. You can only use 2 of the video ports at a time, either 2 HDMI ports, 2 DV ports, or one of each. Once plugged in to your computer you just download and install the necessary software as directed in the instructions. Once that is done you can show 2 different screens, one on each monitor the hub powers, and still have yet a different screen showing on your original screen. This hub is more for use as a desktop extender than as a hub to connect lots of peripherals to. The two USB A 2.0 ports are more than up to powering a keyboard and mouse, and they function well. The video was easy to set up, and it works flawlessly through HDMI ports, I haven't tried the DV ports so far. I think this is a good unit, and it does some things most hubs can't, such as power two additional monitors with different screens even on a MacBook. I think this is a great product if you need that ability, and the price is fair for such a feature.
