My 7 year old neighbour thought it was a great birthday present. She’s still using all the bits and pieces a month later so I think that’s 5 stars from her!

Instructions for resetting the lock, and unlocking it when you’ve forgotten the combination, are also included - keep them somewhere safe because it’s only a matter of time before you’ll need them! The diary is packed in a lovely presentation box along with a bejewelled pen, 5 coloured gel pens, a sparkly pencil case with an elastic band that fits around the diary, a bracelet, and 8 sheets of colourful stickers. Most of the diary’s pages are lined with a space at the top of each page for the date, however, there are some pages at the back with squares, dots, etc. The suggested age range given the item description is all over the place – merging them all together, it’s 6-16 years. The age recommendation on the box is 6+ years, and the safety warning is “Choking Hazard- Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.”. The current price of £16.99, which includes a 15% discount.

I received: Secret Diary for Girls, Diary with Lock for Teenage Girls Age 8-15, Gifts for GirlsThis is a nice gift set, there is a lot going on, you get loads of accessories. My 11y/o loves it: Its fantastically coloured. and she adores the pen. The resetting of the lock was a little fiddly for her - but most adults should be able to manage it, its the usual way of doing it. Lined pages to the book. Happy daughter, great product!
