I love how it's not the human, vampire kind of book. I love that the main character Grace is special, and a gargoyle. But there are also more than vampire, witches and werewolfs characters. This series gets better and better. Can wait to read more!

Grace entging nur knapp einem Anschlag auf ihr Leben und erwacht drei Monate später ohne jede Erinnerung an das, was in dieser Zeit geschah. Wer oder was ist sie? Was passiert mit ihr und welchen Einfluss hat sie selbst? Einzig ihre Liebe zu Jaxon scheint ungebrochen. Diese alles fordernde Liebe und unverbrüchliche Freundschaften mit Macy, Finn und manch neuen Freunden geben ihr den Mut, den Kampf gegen den König und für sich selbst aufzunehmen. Ihr dabei als Leser beizustehen ist ein wilder Ritt der Gefühls-Achterbahn. Knapp 700 Seiten fordern den Leser, wobei das erste Drittel etwas zäh durch Redundanzen, jedoch der Rest umso rasanter und voller Action ist. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Der letzte Kampf zieht sich über 36 Seiten (in der Englischen Version) scheinend endlos lang. Ohne zu viel spoilern zu wollen, für mich war der Höhepunkt in der Szene mit Jaxon vorm finalen Kampf. Schade auch, dass es wenig intim-zärtliche Momente zwischen Grace und Jaxon gab, so dass ihre Beziehung sich nicht wirklich weiter entwicklen konnte. Sein Bruder Hudson ist für manche Überraschung gut und unterhält den Leser mit seiner humorvoll, sarkastisch-schnippisch Britischen Art als Kontrapunkt zum krassen Geschehen in der Welt der Paranormalen jedoch ganz wunderbar. Und der Schluss ist einfach nur krass!Wer den ersten Band mochte, wird "Crush" vermutlich lieben. Doch es wird härter und als Leser sollte man auf alles vorbereitet sein. Von mir eine klare Leseempfehlung für alle Fantasy-Liebhaber, die jede Menge Kampfszene und krasse Wendungen lieben!

Admito que comencé esto con un ojo muy crítico pero me terminó gustando el 1er libro pero ¿este libro? ¡Dios mío, Dios mío, Dios mío! ¿Cómo es aceptable terminar el libro 2 así?

Aviso. Para aquellos que decidan comprarse la edición de tapa dura, los bordes irregulares no son un defecto. Es un estilo de impresión hecho intencionadamente (deckle edges).Por lo demás el libro ha llegado en perfecto estado. No lo he leído aún pero he leído muy buenas reseñas.

On est passé à un poile du coup de cœur. La seule raison pour laquelle ça n’en n’est pas un c’est que j’ai trouvé qu’il y avait quelques longueurs par moments mais alors sinon ….Si j’ai bien aimé le tome 1, le tome 2 était tout simplement génial. Très addictif, très prenant, on est tout de suite mît dans le cœur de l’action.Au niveau des personnages, j’avais aimé Jaxon dans le premier tome, mais là c’est : Jaxon qui ? J’ai rien à lui reprocher mais l’arrivée d’un nouveau personnage, dont je ne dirais pas le nom, a tout changé. Et c’est super intéressant ce changement de dynamisme. J’ai hâte de voir comment l’auteure va gérer ça dans les prochains tomes.En ce qui concerne Grace, ça été géniale de la voir découvrir son potentiel, et de la voir s’affirmer au sein de Katmere.En conclusion, ce second tome était au dessus du premier. Et vu cette dernière phrase de folie, j’ai tellement hâte de découvrir la suite 🥰

The book came in perfect conditions, I really appreciate the aparience of it, with the pages cut rush it make it more interesting and unique itself.The story continues with Grace and her adventures, but now she also will have to deal with destiny, self believe and love. I really like the different perspectives the author make about what is love and all the different feelings every person experience through time pass and we get the idea of who we are and what we want in live. Also I love Grace personality and how strong and self independent she try to be all the time. I can’t wait to read the next one that will came out in March.

Se merece las 5 estrellas por el absoluto e inevitable honor que nos hizo Wolff al darnos a Hudson!Ese final me ha destrozado tanto que no puedo esperar para leer el siguiente libro.Si tienes dudas sobre leerlo después de Anhelo, te puedo asegurar que tienes que hacelo, porque supera el primer libro con creces.
