Order one for an 11 yr old. It was too short, unless they keep it under a sweater or jacket.

I bought two of these for my son's (7 & 9) to wear to my sisters destination wedding in New Orleans with a purple theme. My sister and her now husband are big into boating and we were also going on a cruise. So they wore these to the wedding and on elegant night on ship. So many compliments. That was 5 months ago and we went to a party a few weeks ago. One of the guests that was at the wedding was at the party and he brought up the ties. Said he wanted to get one for himself. Sturdy material. Highly recommend!
