It’s been a long, long time since I’ve used a kite and our son had taken an interest in them so we tried this and everything went pretty well. It’s well folded in a small bag and when opening it you can feel the quality is quite good. Once up in the air you start to appreciate how good it looks, when you’re not trying to remember how to fly a kite.It flies very well, as far as I know, and the line goes further than I’d want it to go. Holding on to it was fine as well.Overall it’s seems good for the price and worked well. We’re happy with it.

This kite is simply beautiful. It’s got a lovely rainbow of colors and a really long tail that flies out with these lovely colorful flags behind it. It’s well made, easy to put together, and flies considerably well. Even my 7-year-old daughter managed to get it up into the sky with a little bit of help from me. If you just hold it into the wind and then release it, on a windy day it should go up. Keep the string tight at all times and then gradually release more and more string so that it goes up into the air. She was really thrilled to see the rainbow colors in the sky. It’s a real crowd-pleaser. I would recommend this kite; it’s beautiful.

In my younger days I could never get kites to stay aloft. That’s on the rare occasion I managed to get it aloft. I’ve run miles dragging kites behind me trying to catch a breeze. Which is the reason I’ve kept away from kites for many years.Looking at the video in the listing where a man is sitting on a beach, I thought that it must be AI, no one can fly a kite with so little effort, without the usual 100 yard dash. I decided that this is the kite for me. I wasn’t so optimistic to think I could achieve success without standing up, so after the unfurling I tentatively offered the kite to the wind-and it accepted it. Within seconds I was reeling out cord as fast as I could and up and away it soared. The kite is very well made with extra stitching where there is likely to be extra stress, the pole pockets for example. The poles along the edges are split into two sections, they click together when unfolded. The kite is 140x71 cm and is as strong as the listing suggests.I love the vivid colours and the tails that loop back on themselves. I don’t know whether that design helps stability but it didn’t detract from it. I think this Flying Hoofer (I love the company name as well) delta kite is a bargain at £14.99.
