This tape measure is a bit wider than some. The most important thing is the silence. The tape pulls out quietly as far as you want. No clicking!! It stays put until you are ready to retract it. Just press the side of the case. This is also silent. The tape is printed in very clear markings.

Clover (made in Japan) is the gold standard for sewing tapes. It’s the only one I use, and I carry it with me regularly. There is no substitute! It’s worth the money.

At first I thought this tape measure was kind of big and chunky but now I really like it. It’s sturdy and well made like all of the other Clover products I own. I feel like it will last for a long time.
