Bought this for my 6 year old girl. It has 3 settings and gets decently bright. But the cord that has to stay plugged is too short. Wish this product held a charge so it didn’t have to be plugged in or would have a place for batteries. Also didn’t come with a user manual.

I have 2 grandkids that love to draw and color, so I needed a 2nd tracing pads to keep the peace. This one has more of a yellow light to it and it has 3 setting for brightness. It can be powered either with 3 AA batteries or with the included power cord. However, if you use the power cord it needs to stay attached to the tracing pad in order to use it and it does not hold a charge. It would be awesome if it was also rechargeable, but alas, it is not. Luckily for me my computer area can be used as my drawing area with my power source right next to it.I like that it has the 3 settings for brightness. This comes with 10 pages of line art and then blank paper that is the same as my printer paper. I was able to trace anything from the line art with ease. But I got to thinking maybe I could also trace onto my heavy 120 lb card stock that I use for card making. I was actually shocked that this worked and I traced the cupcake. And then I was also able to trace a butterfly onto my really good watercolor paper. That was a bit harder as it is a thicker paper and also has texture to it.I love to do watercolor but have been missing my mojo lately and this got me to thinking about using it to get my hand back into being flexible and fluid. As an adult I know there is line art you can purchase and I might be open to that. So I would say that this tracing pad could be for kids or adults.It was hard to get the pink upper portion of this off to put the batteries in, but that is about the only not perfect thing about this tracing pad. Other than that, I absolutely loved this tracing pad and look forward to using it myself when the grandkids aren’t using it. This did not come with any directions.

I got this for my daughter because she loves to draw. This tracing set is perfect! The set includes everything that’s pictured - light up tracing pad, charging cable, sheets with pictures and images to trace, blank sheets of paper, a pencil and colored pencils.The images for tracing are so cute & range from easy to a little difficult because of the detail. There is a nice variety of images to trace. It has three different light settings that range from bright to dim.We love how the tracing pad can be plugged in or have batteries for easy transport. My daughter loves tracing and drawing on long car rides and at her brothers’ sports games.I highly recommend this tracing set. It’s durable, well made, and includes everything needed to create beautiful artwork. It’s perfect for all ages! The price is great too!
