The audio quality is the same as the old cable with or without the Y-adapter. Microphone quality is also the same without interference or bleeding from speakers. I also appreciate the plastic covers that came attached to all of the connectors (will be using those more often now). Personally I can't say much about the build quality other than that it feels less rigid (it feels nicer, but is that worse, better or indifferent to the structural integrity, that I don't know) only time and the form of usage can tell.Also make sure that your problem is with your jack cable first before buying this product.

Ce cable est op et est surtout plus petit que le cable d'origine qui lui est gigantesque. Donc oui il est top je recommande !
