I used the o-ring in this kit to rebuild a trim valve on my outboard engine and it worked perfectly.

Bought to replace a seat that had swelled up restricting petrol flow. Easy to remove and easy to fit.Can be used to replace a swollen seat or one that doesn’t seal letting petrol overflow and run out of the inlet.I remove mine with a tecumseh carb tool however you can also use a screw, screw it slightly into the rubber seat and pull that’s it out.To replace, put the seat into the carb with the grove facing down towards the bottom so the flat side is left showing for the needle . I use a pin punch to fully seat them.The needle is easy, remove the hinge pin from the float and remove the float, slide the old one out, new one slides in place, back into carb and refit hinge pin. Generally the needles don’t need replacing but if it gives you peace of mind it’s easy.
