I was looking for a book that would teach my son and I how to play clarinet. This didn't have anything about holding the clarinet, fingering positions, how to use the reed, how to put the clarinet together.... It was mostly a book about reading sheet music and having little songs. I attached a picture of the first page, where you will see that it shows very simplified buttons but not how to hold the clarinet and what fingers to use to make that note.

I liked that the notes were a little bigger so they were easier to read.

This book is great for kids starting to play. It teaches while it lets them play. Easy to understand and great starter book. Helps to give the kids a sense of accomplishment while at the beginning!
