I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally have a toilet seat with a lid!!! Haha I know that sounds a little odd, but I moved into an apartment approx 10 months ago & my toilet did not have a lid, just the seat!!! I'm a "lid down" kind of person, that is borderline OCD about it, soooo the last 10 months have been extremely taxing on my "bathroom nerves", to say the least!!! Anyhow, I received my new seat today and installed it in less than 5 minutes!!! It took me longer to get the old one off, I think, lol. To be fair, I had watched the video on how to install it when I ordered it, so I was prepared. It was soooo easy to install!!! I haven't actually "used" it yet, but I did sit on it and it appears very sturdy. I gave this 5 stars on comfort because the relief I feel just walking in my bathroom and seeing the lid down is actually worth 10 stars!!! Also, I wasn't expecting the quality seat that it appears to be. For some reason I thought it was going to be plastic, which would have been fine, but it is so much nicer!!! I did read reviews before I ordered and saw where some had problems with the seat cracking. I will definitely update this review if I have any issues like that, but for now I am VERY happy with my new seat and have been guzzling water to hurry the testing process along!!! Haha Just kidding .... it's sweet tea!!! Hahaha Oh yeah, as far as shipping goes ... It was supposed to arrive "next day" (Prime) but for whatever reason it was delayed, which was somewhat disappointing (refer back to OCD lid issues - lol) but it did arrive the day after it was supposed to, so it really wasn't THAT bad. I'm just glad to have it now!!!!!

The color wasn't right but it fits great. We decided to keep and deal with the color which is not biscuit but much lighter then expected. Will not be able to buy another since the color doesn't match.

There are way more things I want to buy than a toilet seat so I was looking for a cheaper one. This one had good reviews so I crossed my fingers & hoped for the best. I must say, you more than get your money's worth at $25. Nice solid, heavy seat & lid. I knew it installed a bit differently but hubbie did not. No directions came with it but there is a video right on the Amazon page so not an issue. Well, it was an issue when it wiggled loose within a week but then he put it on right, lol. Elongated style & Bone color matches my Gerber beige toilet perfectly.
