This review is for three of the Battle Systems products; Dungeon Garrison, Fantasy Village Furniture, and the Fantasy Village itself.General Observations:The overall quality of the products is quite good. Not as good as you would get with plastic or resin but for the price, you are not going to beat it. Much has been posted about no printed instructions being provided and you must watch videos on the Battle Systems website. I did not find this an issue and also found it very useful to actually see someone assemble some of the more complex items. However, one should have the pause button ready since several of the actual assemblies are done in fast motion. You will also need a sharp hobby knife to shave off the little knobs that hold the separate items to the cards. Although the items are printed on both sides, you will also need a number of felt tip pens to color the edges. Sharpie sells a 12 pack of several shades of brown – and you will need several shades. Also required will be at least one marker of gray, blue, green, and yellow. Lastly have a pencil with a VERY soft lead for items such as weapons edges and book page edges.Fantasy Village Furniture:I stared with this item as a trial before moving onto the more complex and expensive ones. You will get many chests, book shelves, tables & chairs, beds, weapons racks, barrels, fireplaces, and some scatter. The weapons racks include weapons (swords, spears, axes, and hammers) that you can arraign as desired. The bookcases come with sever types of books and some are open with two exposed printed pages. It should be noted that the Fantasy Village also comes with some of these items so it is only really needed if plan on furnishing the entire village or have another use in mind.Dungeon Garrison:This is really nice product that will add some great detail to any D&D type adventure setup. It comes with a large number weapons, shields, and crates. But the stars are the archery targets, training dummies (for sword work practice), and a very nice work bench that is setup for repairing weapons, shields, and chainmail. Also included are a large table (about the size of four of the normal ones), some beds, wall maps, a latrine, and lots of scatter.The Fantasy Village:There really is a lot included with this package. Besides the village itself (thatched roof house, 2 story townhouse, large storage shed, large 2 story barn, a boat house, and a very large 2 story tavern/inn. But wait – there’s more! You also get two row boats, two carts, a pond (that is a swamp on the reverse side), lots of fence, several ladders and staircases. There is also more furniture provided in the form of beds, tables &chairs, chests, boxes, weapons rack & weapons, fireplaces, book shelves, and barrels. Once again, there are no printed instructions included for the construction but the videos are clear. Note that the printing process has two sides for every item. However care should be taken while one side is “flat”, the other side has more of a 3D “raised” look to it and assembly should always be made to present the “raised” side to be the outward facing (most visible) side for best effects. Lastly, some glue is going to be required (as noted in the videos). Also not that the ground floors are designed to just lay inside the buildings so if the structure is picked up, the floor remains on the table. I glued the floors in place as I do not intend to deconstruct the buildings other than to remove the roofs or second story in order to fit in a storage tub.Conclusion:OK – it is not Dwarven Forge but for the price it is pretty darn nice! Lots of care was taken with the amount of detail provided and with all the extra little items provided. If you are undecided, watch the videos to see if this product line is for you. I would recommend it and would purchase it again. I also intend to add more of the product line (and it is very extensive) to my collection.

Good quality, thick card and quality artwork for role play games

Really high quality kit. Easy to put together. Whilst making it with my lad, we found we were a few clips missing. Emailed the company over Xmas, and within a few hours had a reply to say they'd send me some more out. Great company, great product.
