Wow, this little piece of plastic looks nothing. Until of course you start to sew and come to a thick part of your fabric trying to get underneath the foot of your sewing machine and that’s where this little gadget comes into its own. I couldn’t believe how easy it made my job of sewing Thick fabric and trying to get it under the foot of my sewing machine. It really comes into its own so it may look a harmless little bit of plastic but it does a mighty job.

I make bags and purses using canvas and often I have to walk my needle over the humps. Now I come up to a thick area. Lift my foot and slide it under from the back.
