For this price, you get very good value for money, probably more than with most of the other products at this price range. No frills, but sturdy, very easy to set up, and works perfectly. One note of caution: I was wasn’t able to use it in « Xbox controller mode » with Bluetooth headphones on my iPad, as it created heavy interference and the sound was very choppy. Works like a charm in « DualShock 4 mode ».

Really impressed with the quality of this controller given the cost. It was even able to stretch to fit my 11" Lenovo P11 Plus tablet, just barely but it fits! The tablet stays nice and snug, no concern with it falling loose. Using it to stream Moonlight from my Gaming PC, effectively turning my tablet into a AAA portable gaming console. Works great.

New Review:After looking through youtube videos for "BSP D8" I was able to find the issue. If using on android, you need to power off and hold x first before pressing the power button. The manual states to "press (x+home) for 2 seconds" and that is incredibly unclear. Holding x and then pressing the power button will instantly switch the controller mode to android with a yellow light but the controller has to be powered off while performing any mode switching.Another thing is that this controller costs more than half off on Aliexpress with free shipping. But shipping takes 2 weeks or more.Anyway, this controller is a gem no matter where you get it. It is easily a better controller than the Backbone or other blutooth controllers for that matter. It is sturdy and extends to fit tablets. The buttons and LR triggers are all Hall Effect! The dpad and ABXY buttons might be slightly less pressy than a console controller but definitely feel better than other blutooth controllers.Hopefully this review helps some of you.----Old Review:Other bluetooth controllers are easy to map using the emulator settings but not this controller. The manual states that there are 2 android settings for the device but it is hard to tell if the set up is working or not. I have tried on both a Galaxy S8+ and a Windows Surface Duo but neither accept mapping the inputs through an emulator.In fact, moving the joysticks around and you can see the home screen moving. Somehow it thinks I'm trying to swipe on the screen. It doesn't make sense.I will replace the device and try again but for now my rating for this is 1 star. I really want to rate this device higher because of the form factor. This is one of the nicest bluetooth controllers on the market. Even better than the Backbone controller. It looks even better in person and matches larger phones better than other android controllers.The trigger buttons and sticks are also very good and presses down well. If you've bought other android controllers you'll know what I'm talking about.But its all useless if I can't use it. I hope the manufacturer sees this and makes changes to their firmware. But if its just a faulty controller then I will remake this review once the 2nd controller comes in. That is all.
