Simple to install and looks good as well. Installed it in the trunk mounted to the backseat. Makes my other speakers sound better while adding depth to all music.

This thing is built like a tank! Extremely high build quality. Reeks of perfection while the design looks like something Batman would install on his Batmobile.I bought this to bring some much needed low notes to my system. I drive a 2017 Isuzu Vcross truck with a Pioneer AVH-Z5090BT Headunit paired with Blaupunkt Velocity Components in the front and back. The entire system is active and sounds blissful. The crossover is set at 63Hz and such the bass doesn't drop really low. This is where I felt the need for a good subwoofer that can go down to 20Hz. However, my truck does not have a boot and my only option was to opt for an underseat sub. After considering several models, decided to go with this. And boy if first impressions are anything to go by, these are awesome! The diminutive dimensions (340x240x80mm) make sure that this can be mounted under most car seats or tucked away in a corner of your car's boot without taking up any space at all. The build quality is nothing short of awesome. Holding it in your hand, you know it is a piece of solid engineering. In contrast, other underseat subwoofers feel like toys. all provided cables have more than enough length that should comfortably reach till the boot of most cars. I'm installing this under the driver's seat and a lot of the cable would be extra.Make sure your HU has RCA outputs. Even though this unit accepts speaker level inputs, the quality is never the same. If you have RCA Sub out on your HU, get a good quality RCA cable and you're all set. My HU has three 4V RCA outs for front, rear and sub. This gives me individual sub control directly from the HU as well. I went with the AmazonBasics 8ft RCA cable as they offer incredible quality at the price. Everything else required for the install is included in the box.In the Box:1: The PWE -V80 Subwoofer2: Wired Remote with LPF, Phase and Gain control3: Power Cable with Fuse4: Remote activation cable5: Speaker level input cable6: Cable Connector7: Mounting hardware8: Basic Instruction Manual and Warranty Card (Sealed by the Seller)Will update this review once I install and try it out. But I have no doubts this will deliver! Highly recommended!Update 13 Friday 2018: Wait, Friday the 13th?! Ooh! Anyways, on to the performance. This thing is rock solid! Hard hitting bass that is sure to bring a smile. I love how full the music sounds now. I have the LPF set to 100Hz on the remote and gain at 50%. My HU has a fairly detailed DSP so I use the crossover to LPF at 80Hz with a 12db slope to the sub. My mids are now HPF'd at 80Hz instead of the earlier 63Hz and Bandpass at 5k with a 24db slope. Tweeters get HPF at 5k+. The whole system is pure bliss! My rear components run at 2db over my fronts which sounds great once the TA has been set correctly. Overall, music is so much fuller after the sub and has a new dimension now!By bumping up the gain on the amp remote or amping the signal via HU, I can get the bass up to uncomfortable levels. This tiny little thing moves so much air for an 8" cone. Due to the size, it cannot drop down real low, but unless your building an SPL setup (in which case, you won't be using a tiny 8" sub anyways) it won't matter. For 99% of everyday listening to any genre, this sub does the trick.Spend some time to tune your system and you won't be disappointed. Oh and, point to note - The sub will not work with the remote disconnected. I thought I'll remove it once tuned so that nobody accidentally bumps off my settings. But it shuts off with the remote pulled. So I mounted it neatly near the parking brake. Looks great, works great.Highly recommended!
