so... it is exactly what it looks like... there's no frills at all!. I own a pair of the JBL stands & have used them for years & they are great; however, the JBL stands are not as 'adjustable' as these stands are. The JBL have the spring loaded knob to go from notch to notch.. I've only used in lowest & first.. not sure if there are more.... but these poles have more typical adjustment holes that are secured with the pin. The knob on the back is ONLY to stop the pole from twisting. It DOES NOT have any sort of protector on the end of the threaded bit, so.... as you can imagine... tighten with the knob & it will take off the paint... Lucky for me, I won't be adjusting them and quite frankly, it's not like they are going to sit & spin anyway.. so, the knob is kind of useless for me. Wish they came out with these before I spent like $115 on each of my other stands....

Tengo unos subwoofers JBL serie PRX y había sido complicado encontrar el atril con la rosca M20 para los altavoces. Definitivamente cumplen con su función y el acero es resistente.

...und ist gut verarbeitet.Man sollte allerdings sicherstellen das die Sachen sicher stehen.Je nach Höhe wackelt es.Wie immer durch Amazon sehr schnell am Start gewesen!

I had to return this pole because of a (my) schoolboy error in ordering. It has a threaded end which is only compatible with subs with the relevant fitting. My sub doesn't have that sort of fitting??. Although I didn't have the facility to test it, the pole looked very sturdy and seemed quite capable of holding the heaviest of speaker. I must say though that this is the first time I've had to return something to Amazon and the process was completely painless and incredibly easy. Excellent service from Amazon!!
