I gave this 5 stars based on value-for-money as well as purely the quality and functionality of it. I bought it in order to "tidy-up" all the various cables/ leads used by microphones on my drumkit; they can now all go into the one stagebox and thence by just one cable all the way to the mixing desk across the stage. Previously, this meant about seven leads all cluttering-up the stage area and potentially allowing one's foot to get caught up and cause a trip or fall. A colleague suggested I needed a "stagebox" and a quick search online duly brought up a few possibles. Many are designed for sending many signals out to a mixer and have maybe a dozen or more inputs/outputs.. I only needed eight maximum, and found this one on Amazon. Not only was it a bit cheaper than others advertised, it also offered a very long connecting cable too - ideal if on a big stage or needing to send the signals out to an "in-house" desk. Yes, you can buy all the components & make one up yourself for a little less money, but really, the price of this ready-made unit is so good by comparison, it's not worth the bother. The coiled-up multicore cable can be a bit heavy to carry, but then againyou can see the whole assembly is quite robust, so should cope with a lot of gigs on the road!Used on two gigs already and our soundman was complimented at the last gig by the venue management on how neat & tidy things were on stage!

Used on the road regularly. Good quality build and you can depend on these not to let you down. Highly recommended.
