My 7 yo boy loved the experimental feeling anyway, as he's curious and likes research and science, but the results from the set are sad. The tree was OK but far from what is shown on the box. The white crystal grew very small, and it does not glow in the dark (only its powder did). The blue crystal didn't form at all. Also, we waited for like a month. All instructions from the set were strictly followed.Idea - great. Product quality - poor.

The hardest part of growing these crystals was to keep the temperature up in our room for a couple of days. I had no idea that was part of the process, but it makes total sense. The end results are not as spectacular as the photo on the box, but that's OK as maybe the room needed to be even warmer than we set our thermostat to. Since the chemicals need to stay off one's skin, my students got to feel like scientists, wearing lab coats and goggles, LOL! I will buy this kit again next year, assuming I'm teaching science then!

Had voor 60 euro aan producten besteld en dacht dat je daarom geen verzendkosten meer zou betalen. En dacht, leuk kado voor kids erbij voor 10,91. Blijkt dat er 9,74 euro aan verzendkosten bij zijn gekomen. Helaas was me dit niet opgevallen, anders natuurlijk nooooooit gekocht. Dus kijk uit voor extra verzendkosten, ook al heb je voor een flink bedrag aan andere producten gekocht. Het werkt blijkbaar bij Amazon anders dan bij Bol.

I bought this kit three times over the past couple years. First I bought a single one for my two kids to mine together. They’re into mining and learning about crystals. They loved it but the activity ended too soon because they each mined half of the clay block. A few months later, I bought two sets so they can each mine one set. The crystals that come in vary in size and shape but not by type. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t buying multiples. They enjoyed it each time. We had tried other brands as well but this was by far our favorite.

Los 3 experimentos han salido perfectos...a mi hija le ha) gustado hacerlos. Lo único malo es que hay que hacer los 3 seguidos. Buena calidad/precio

De los 3 cristales, uno con forma de arbolito blanco crece muy rápido y funciona muy bien.El cristal fluorescente, tarda más (como indica las instrucciones) y crece muchísimo menos, pero aun así refleja la luz y se ve muy bien (a los niños les gusta mucho el experimento).El cristal azul, que es el que realmente debería ser más parecido a un cristal mineral no creció.Estoy bastante satisfecho porque el experimento es muy adecuado para niños y fácil de hacer a pesar de que solo me crecieron 2 de 3 cristales.
