I have used Bridgedale socks for many years and these new socks I have bought are superb. They fit perfectly without squeezing the the leg at top of sock, which some of the earlier versions did. If you buy these socks I am sure you will be very pleased with them. They are also breathable and I have worn these socks in very warn and also arctic countries (the correct version of there sock for these conditions of minus 30 deg.C) and at all times have found them comfortable and warm in cold climates.

I've size 13 uk and these fit perfectly.They are so comfortable,I have cold feet a lot but these socks keep my feet warm,but not toowarm.cant think of a down side.I have never worn a pair out,so they do last at least 1000 miles

### Updated Dec '19 After 12 Months Use, Pictures are after Several Thousand Miles, Hundreds of Washes! ###As the updated title says I have now had these for a year, alternating two pairs for work.The pictures show not one but several thousand miles of walking of wear plus the added stress of machine washing them 2/3 times a week.There are no structural issues, are they as aesthetically pleasing as when first bought, no there is bobbling, no holes, they still fit to my foot shape, however I have had socks that have disentegrated after a quarter of this usage.I haven't had a single blister or a day when I thought my feet were in pain and although I pick up decent insoles as well as good boots these socks are a big part of that.Excellent, sturdy, well cushioned. The price has gone up somewhat since my original purchase but for peace of mind and sheer resilience it's hard to disagree with the addage you get what you pay for.In wet and snowy conditions I use Sealskinz and Dexshells, which are nothing like the comfort on offer here but they are not meant to be fully waterproof.Buy the right gear for the right purpose and it will last and perform as these have.I like to try new and different brands so will check another set out this coming year, if you want a sock that is tried and tested to last, perform and repeat then 1000 mile socks are a great start.##########Only 4 stars as ive done approximately 500 miles with no problems so far. Bought two pairs that i alternate for daily wear in work in a coldstore. Structually sound no tears or holes, very warm and the cushionings great as well. I havent had any blisters and ive broken two pairs of boots in in that time too.As well as wearing for work they trapse around with me walking the dog and no issues, really comfortable and provide a good bit of added cushioning all over my feet. Warm but not sweat inducing and whilst my boots ill be honest do hum a little, the socks are fine, machine washing daily after use doesnt seem to have cause any issues. Would be nice in different/more intersting colours but then i dont walk around in socks only much so not a big issue.

Die besten Socken ever!!!!Hatte noch niemals so gute Socken...werde mir noch ein paar bestellen!! Auch wenn man sie den ganzen Tag in den Schuhen trägt schwitzt man nicht. Sie beginnen sich nicht unangenehm zu riechen.

Fits as expected, quality great and delivery timely. That being said the elastic at the top is somewhat tight for a leg that supports a size 13 shoe--socks don't fall down but elastic could frankly be a little less constricting and still accomplish the task.
