El tanque Firefly Sherman de diseño británico empleaba un cañón antitanque de 17 libras capaz de destruir tanques alemanes fuertemente blindados como el Tiger y Panther. Este kit de montaje de escala 1/48 replica de forma realista el cañón largo y el contrapeso en la parte trasera de la torreta. Pantalla con tripulación de tanque británico de 1/48 e infantería también disponible en Tamiya. Combina con el portabebés universal 1/48 y Cromwell Mk. IV Tank para un impresionante diorama de vehículos blindados británicos.

Delivery was great; it arrived a day early.In addition to the hull being made of metal, the tracks are actually moving parts.The instructions, also available online as a PDF, detail necessary and optional paints, as well as clear multilingual instructions. From my brief inspection, the English looked coherent and comprehensible.Very nice level of detail, too. I'm not a tank buff so I can't really criticise that much, but my dad and I, having visited war memorials across Europe and watched more than our share of documentaries, are interested in military history, and for what it's worth, the level of detail's good enough for us.Overall, a very nice model, suitable for those a bit longer in the tooth with less than 20/20 eyesight and an interest in cool boy stuff.

Great model of an iconic tank that took on the vaunted Tiger and won. Great detail couple of days to build and paint. Great price.
