Acerca de Willow Tree
Willow Tree es una línea íntima de esculturas figurativas que hablan en formas tranquilas para sanar, consolar, proteger e inspirar. La artista Susan Lordi talla a mano el original de cada figura en su estudio en Kansas City Missouri. Las piezas se moldean a partir de sus tallas originales y se pintan individualmente a mano. La expresión se revela solo a través de gestos... una inclinación de la cabeza, la colocación de las manos, un giro del cuerpo. La simplicidad de la forma y la ausencia de rasgos faciales significan Willow Tree. Susan espera que estas piezas sean significativas tanto para el donante como para el receptor.
En el estudio
Susan se describe a sí misma como una creadora. Su proceso artístico es bastante intuitivo; ella dibuja en arcilla mientras forma y talla cada pieza. Este enfoque único en la creación de productos hace que sus piezas sean individuales, su mano y su perspectiva única son evidentes en cada escultura.

特に”天使シリーズ”が好きで、この「Angel of Prayer」を購入しました。素朴で質感が良いですね。顔がデフォルメされているので、見る人が感情移入ができ、色々な思いを与えてくれます。まだ、欲しい”天使”があるので、また注文します。

Years ago, I was introduced to the Willow Tree Angels when my mom showed me some of hers. I bought her a couple as gifts and have given a couple to friends as well but never had gotten any for myself. My sister then gave me one when I was going through a rough time and I've always had it on my dresser. It's beautiful and reminds me of how blessed I am. Recently, I came upon these again while I was searching for gifts on here. I'm becoming stronger in my faith and the prayer angel seemed perfect so I bought it as a gift to myself.The Willow Tree Angel of Prayer is an absolutely beautiful piece and is meant for "those who believe in the power of prayer." This figurine is an angel who is kneeling and bowing her head in prayer. Just like many other Willow Tree figurines, this one is wearing a simple white dress and the wings are made of sturdy wire. I like that the faces are always blank because the angels can be for anybody and their facial expressions are open to interpretation. The Angel of Prayer measures about 3 3/4 inches tall and is cast and hand-painted in China. The original sculpture is made in the USA by artist Susan Lordi. This angel comes securely-wrapped in a nice box which makes it great to give as a gift.I was so excited to receive my Angel of Prayer and was delighted to open the box when I got it! The angel is beautiful and is the same style as the other angel that I own. It's well-made, doesn't feel cheap and I find it handy that on the bottom of the angel, the name "Angel of Prayer" is printed so I don't have to remember which one it is since some of them are similar in style. I've got my two angels on my dresser and feel a sense of peace when I look at both of them. I would love to acquire a number of them someday because I absolutely love them! I also plan to give many of these as gifts since so many people I know like them. If you are looking for a beautiful gift for a friend, family member, or even yourself, these are a wonderful option! There are so many to choose from. The Angel of Prayer would make a great gift for anyone who believe in the power of prayer!
