I received them flat and compressed. Took some work to get them round again. The cups cover your eyes on microscope making stereo sight easier. The contact it makes with the oculars are very thin. So they don't grab the smallest oculars. I glued them to place. 4 stars for being a bargain.

Poorly moulded, they don’t have an internal ridge to grip the eyepiece so they just fall off my Meade 10x50 binoculars. But it doesn’t matter because they’d be rubbish even if they stayed on; the whole point of buying these was to get extra shielding at the sides to stop stray light entering but instead they’re just normal size at the temple edge but then cut down on the nose side, such that your eyeball and eyelashes are up against the eyepiece lenses and consequently smearing them. Not at all like the photograph, which shows big “wings” at the side. Expensive. Recommend you avoid these. I’d send them back but it’s so much hassle. Don’t usually get such poor products from Amazon but I’m afraid these are useless.
