Great little port bungs. Perfect for my Powerline HomePlug adapter which has exposed Ethernet ports on the top. They are actually translucent clear silicone rather than white.

I was looking for a dust cover that was shallow enough to fit the ports on a NETGEAR JGS524NA as they are a bit shallower than other RJ45 ports. I originally was using a different dust cover by Ultra Spec Cables - that fit every other RJ45 port in my house (Asus Wireless Router and Cable Matters RJ45 keystone jacks) but are too deep for some NETGEAR switches.These fit perfect and are exactly what I was looking for. They are unobtrusive, unlike the Ultra Spec Cables version, that I will be swapping all my RJ45 keystone jacks in my house over to these.

Heute kommen ja immer mehr Produkte mit einer LAN- bzw. RJ45-Dose, die man bei WLAN-Anschluss nicht braucht. Je nach Aufstellungsort des Gerätes steht die Buchse dann offen, dient als Staubfänger und sieht auch nicht gerade blendend aus. Bei mir betraf das ein Sonos Connect Gerät, welches so im Schrank stand, dass die Rückseite zu sehen war.Diese Kappen sind aus weichem Kunststoff oder Silikon gefertigt, sehr weich und lassen sich problemlos in eine RJ45-Buchse hineinstecken und sind genauso einfach zu entfernen. Die Buchsen schließen mehr oder weniger bündig mit dem Gehäuse ab, das hässliche Loch und der Staubfänger ist weg und das Gerät sieht allgemein besser aus. Aus meiner Sicht deshalb klare Empfehlung.

I have a switch mounted on a wall with the RJ45 sockets on the top. I wanted to stop dust accumulating in the two unused sockets and was delighted to find these blanking caps.
