Buen detalle, como en toda esta serie de Miniart. Pero el ensamblaje y encaje de las piezas es lamentable.Hay que emplear muchas horas lijando y masillando. La postura final de la figura es antinatural (la posición final de los pies es anatómicamente irreal en una postura de ataque o defensa). Lo mismo ocurre con la expresión de la cara: parece más bien que esté contemplando un paisaje que luchando.Compré tres figuras de esta serie: el presente Samurai; el granadero napoleónico y el coracero francés. Lo mismo ocurre con todas. Pero si acaso más todavía en el Samurai. ADios Miniart 1/16.

I was so excited when it arrived.It came in a nice box with a beautiful illustration by Igor Dzis. He is a brilliant Ukrainian illustrator for history books such as one of Osprey Publishing. To this day I can't bring myself to throw away the box.The pieces come accompanied with a little instruction sheet with more illustrations of the samurai with all the pieces labelled and numbered accordingly. That's simple enough. For me it was easy to follow.I'm not sure why the sword is straight and not curved like a proper katana blade, but I'm guessing the designer made a mistake. But that doesn't bother me.I had so much fun making this. Taking a break in between as I used a super glue to stick the pieces together as I built this model. Overall, the model looks really cool. It makes me smile every time I look at it.My only disappointment is the lack of a base. But that's a minor thing when I can always make my own and glue the figure into place. But I think it should have been included.MiniArts has a collection different warriors from different time periods. I'm thinking of getting the Roman Gladiator one at a later date. That one looks cool too.I wish there were more Japanese models like this by MiniArt. It would be really cool to have different samurai armour in different poses (with a variety of weapons like a yari spear or a naginata, even a bow and arrow) and different ranks and clans. Better yet, why not Warrior Monks or Samurai on a horses?!Unfortunately as I'm typing this the MiniArt website is down, they are based in Ukraine, and I don't know whether they have anything new on offer or not which is a real shame.Overall, this is a fantastic model. I enjoyed making it.

Muy buena calidad del material aunque tenia bastantes rebabas, que me ha obligado a hacer un mayor trabajo del modelo. Tiene muchas posibilidades de pintura y montaje.

More dynamic sculpt than the usual MiniArt 1/16 scale figures, it also has step by step instructions. It lacks a display base like most MiniArt 120mm figures, however. The model parts don't always fit together well, so putty to fill gaps is a must. Also, the sculpture does not match the cover illustration. All that being said, my finished model painted up quite nicely so I give the kit 4 stars.

Ho comprato questo kit per fare un regalo ad un mio amico amante del Giappone e, devo dire che è davvero ben fatto!Ho controllato la scatola prima di incartarlo, il kit è fatto bene, non mancava nessun pezzo e si può decidere se lasciarlo così, grezzo oppure dare libero sfogo alla fantasia e colorarlo a piacimento, farà la sua bella figura in esposizione! :)

のりしろみたいなのが一切無いので、一旦テープで組み立てのりしろにチェック入れて組み立てました…○|￣|＿。だいたいは正確に接着すれば出来上がる代物ですが正確な位置がはっきりしないものがあるため難易度が高い（何個か位置を間違え接着してしまったorn）上、刀と手の部分は正確に入れようとしても入れられないので削って無理矢理入れました。
