I am giving some packs of cards to a local church group of older members which meets for various activities once a week. They have no interest in gambling, but do enjoy games. These counters are colourful and quite tough - they are also large enough to be used by arthritic hands. The lid of the storage box is rather loose-fitting, so I've added an elastic band. Not really gambling chips anyway, but good for family games designed for fun rather than profit (I've invented one especially for the group). Good value, and should last a long time.

We got this set because my kids love playing poker but these look more modern and I don’t mind leaving them out for decor pieces as opposed to other more traditional chips. They are a thick plastic material that can be bent a little without breaking. Great for younger players and for multiple purposes.

Yes-- they are colored poker chips-- however-- I have a group of K-1st graders who have difficulty picking up and manipulating small math counters--These are thick and made very well. The kids can pick them up off the table a lot easier than other counter pieces. They can pile them and sort them according to colorGreat resource in K-1st grade classroom!
