Palnik zwrócony do Amazon.[Google translation: The burner arrived, it looked very solid. However, the spark plug stopped working. I tried several times to contact the manufacturer Dickie Dyer, who supposedly offers a 3-year warranty. No response received, Dickie Dyer guarantor support. Burner returned to Amazon.]

Never owned a mapp torch before but have plenty of butane/propane style ones and this thing feels and looks better built than my go system torches. The heat it outputs is immense, tried it on a small piece of copper pipe and was glowing in less than a minute!! Piezo works great, the hold function works if you need to use it for extended periods otherwise the torch shuts off. I believe the gas is only released once the piezo has been depressed, which led me to think no gas was actually coming out (unlike my go system torches that just expell gas as soon as you open the valve) so a win in my eyes in terms of safety and my wallet.Overall I'm pleased with it, it is different to the advertised picture but what I got looks a million times better and not so Chinese made looking and came blister packed with some instructions

Feels very substantial and well made for the money. Mapgas canister screwed in easily with minimal escape of gas, and the electronic ignition fired up the torch first time. My old Rothenberger propane torch was often an absolute pig to light, having to muck about with the regulator while holding a lighter, and balancing the torch, so this is a revelation. The regulator valve feels robust and smooth in operation, and is easy to adjust. This, and the general build of the torch both inspire confidence. The standard setting requires the trigger to be held down to keep the torch alight which is handy from a safety perspective, or if you’re only needing short bursts of heat, but this can be easily overridden by pushing the ignition lock button down with the trigger pulled in. Simply squeezing the trigger again releases it.Too early to comment on durability, but it feels well made and much more expensive than it is. Simplicity in itself to use, as well. This is going to be for occasional DIY use, starting with removing and installing bearings on an old Triumph motorbike engine, and it seems more than up to that sort of use.A great buy!

What have been doing all these years? As a keen DIY plumber I have been doing jobs at home and now more recently on our narrowboat and I have been using a cheap camping gas type torch and suffering the pains of needing both hands to operate just the torch, constantly looking to put the thing down and the loss of loads of solder that never quire got hot enough. This arrived today and was put into immediate use and WOW what a difference. Instant one handed ignition and use, variable flame size and joints heated and sealed in seconds and I watched the solder make the joint. This is a great bit of kit. Great value and hopefully it will serve me well on my projects. As for the variable camping gas flamethrower that has seen it last. Recommended
