Creates a flush look with the PC, make sure you get the side you need. Originally bought the down facing ones but how my DP ports were installed in the PC, I needed the up-facing ones.

Quería ponerlo en mi PC para evitar que el cable del monitor presione con la pared y evitar posibles roturas. Este adaptador me ha funcionado perfectamente.Sólo hay que tener en cuenta qué versión del adaptador comprar, con la salida hacia arriba o abajo, según cómo quieras que salga el cable.

So far these have worked well in a daisy chain setup of 2 monitors. They help relieve the tension on the ports as I use one monitor in portrait. Glad I got these.

I love these DisplayPort adapters!Everyone typically experiences great difficulty and annoyance trying to reach around to the back of a monitor and awkwardly insert either HDMI or DisplayPort cables - these adapters can help alleviate that pain by making the port face BACK rather than down.The build quality of these adapters is excellent - the housing is made from aluminum and there is ZERO flex in or around the connectors. Cables click confidently in place on both male and female connectors.Note that these will only work if your DisplayPort isn't recessed into the underside of your display chassis too deeply, but most monitors should be fine.Highly recommended!
